Sangoma Send V2 & V3

Sangoma Send is a productivity app designed for small and medium-sized businesses to send mass messages to their clients, via email or SMS.

For this product, I led the design of the second version of the app and oversaw the end-to-end development process, including backend and frontend development, UI reviews, testing, and launch, to ensure a seamless and well-executed implementation.

One year after the V2 release, I gathered user feedback and leveraged key insights to design the third iteration of the app, further refining its functionality and user experience.

The first version of Sangoma Send was launched to customers a year prior to the development of V2. Based on user feedback, an analysis of the evolving competitive landscape, and alignment with Sangoma's business objectives, the redesign of a second iteration became necessary to enhance functionality, user experience, and market competitiveness.

A year after the launch of Sangoma Send V2, user data and feedback were collected to identify key areas for improvement. Insights from real-world usage, combined with the evolution of Sangoma’s design system and style guidelines, highlighted the need for an updated design.

Problems to Solve

Problems to Solve

Problems to Solve

Send Version 2

  • Sangoma Send V1 lacks a seamless user experience due to the existing structure of mailing lists and tags, which complicates the organization of end users' contacts

  • Additionally, V1 does not comply with current 10DLC regulations for mass SMS messaging, a standard now essential for SMS broadcasting

  • Further challenges include unclear terminology and structural inconsistencies, making it difficult for non-technical users to navigate the application effectively

  • As a result, many users require assistance from Sangoma's sales engineering team, increasing support dependency and reducing overall efficiency

Send Version 3

  • The development of Sangoma Send V3 focuses on UI enhancements and reducing redundancies, alongside key UX improvements

  • This iteration is designed to further refine usability and ensure visual coherence.
